Almost Actual Ackworth Half

1st November to 6th December 2020

If you're going to do a virtual race using the local roads, why not do one which has some relevance to where you live? You will also receive a fabulous medal which incorporates a local landmark and can be used to open bottles of beer!

We've  devised a different course to the one we use for our annual event to make it easier to self navigate and safer for runners. Its a circular route - you can pick your own start point - just keep running until you arrive back. Should you not be local or wish to amend the route eg to run from home - its not a problem - just stop your 'timer' when you have completed 13.1 miles or 21.1 kilometres.

Want to be part of the Ackworth Half fun but not the best option for you? We have the answer to help you complete the distance your way:-
Ackworth Virtual Half Challenge

Still run the half marathon distance between the same dates but do it in stages  -  where you want and when. You log your progress through Webscorer over the 4 weeks of the event. It doesn't matter if you register part way through - there's plenty of time to complete your challenge. It costs the same to enter and you get the same medal.

Entry is through "Webscorer"- click button to go to their site:

To enter the event you will need to have a Webscorer account From the menu bar Select Profiles>my racer profile and create an account. This requires just your email address and password.

Select Find Races>find registrations and search using the event name ‘Ackworth’ Click on the event and follow the entry instructions. Please note that the entry fee of £8.00 is payable by BACS transfer - account details are on the entry system. Your registration will be confirmed once payment has been received.
